The few blueberries that are left on the bushes are being eaten by the birds before they fully ripen because of the drought.

Chmielewski’s Blue berry Farm is located about 40 minutes northwest of downtown Houston in Hockley, Texas. We have 22 rows of approximately 8 acres of Southern Highbush and Rabbiteye blueberries . Our farm is only opened during the season when the blueberries are ripe (usually late May through Mid July). We provide buckets to pick your blueberries and plastic bags to take them home with you.
